Crocodile that killed five-year-old boy Jeremy Doble to live in farm or zoo

Croc that killed boy won't be put down

THE 4.3m crocodile confirmed to have taken a five-year-old boy from the Daintree River in far north Queensland will be sent to a farm or zoo, not put down.
The Queensland Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says the crocodile will not be put on public display, but will be kept at a zoo or farm.
An examination of material found in the reptile's stomach at Brisbane forensic lab, the John Tonge Centre, confirmed Jeremy Doble, who disappeared on February 8 after he followed his dog into the river, had fallen victim to the crocodile.
Jeremy's parents, who run a tourism destination in the Daintree, have asked authorities to not kill any crocodiles.
Jeremy disappeared on February 8 after he followed his dog into the river.
Jeremy's seven-year-old brother, Ryan, told police he saw a crocodile in the water moments later.
